Trending @Accenture; *IMP* Resignation Withdrawal
Hi all, Please consider answering this I need help. I have last 5 days in Accenture. My location is Bengaluru and I live here with my family. I got one opportunity in Mumbai location which is 30% hike from my current CTC. I have bad time going on in my family as my brother is fallen ill. I’m thinking of withdrawing my resignation, I doubt that my project will retain me as there are layoffs going on in my project. Please suggest me the best decision I can make. All your opinions will help me a lot Thank you
I would recommend you to check with your people lead and HR. You can request the withdrawal of resignation but as you may have read in resignation email that Accenture has right to accept or reject the resignation withdrawal request. Also don't wait for last day as you will be fined 50K because you would not have submitted the assets.
Alternatively, you can request to reschedule the DOJ in new organization till situation at your home improves. Because if you withdraw resignation now, you might not get much opportunities for appraisal or promotions till you dont get another project. I have personally experienced how Accenture Management's perspective towards you changes once you submit resignation. It will be even worse when you withdraw resignation. Accenture has become worst now-a-days due to shitty Management people.
In addition, as you have already mentioned that layoffs are in progress in your team then why take risks by withdrawing resignation.
I would suggest explaining the situation to the new organisation that you are gonna join and ask for wfh for a couple of months if possible!
Speak with any level 7 or 6 ASAP without delaying it further

Try talking to new hr and if you can get wfh for some days
Many layoffs are going in Accenture. Take decision carefully.
