Immediate Joiners Only? Why Is This Becoming the Hiring Standard?
Has anyone else noticed an increasing number of companies only looking for candidates available to join immediately? It’s frustrating to see so many talented professionals overlooked simply because they have a notice period to serve with their current employer.
While I understand the urgency in some cases, this trend makes me wonder about fairness in the hiring process:
💼 Many qualified, experienced candidates are automatically ruled out. 🕒 Having to serve a notice period is the standard in many companies, and expecting people to disregard it feels unprofessional. 🌱 Isn't it better to hire the right person and wait a few weeks than rush into an imperfect match?
Anyone else facing this? Or maybe you’ve found ways to address it with recruiters or hiring managers? Would love to hear thoughts or experiences from both sides of the table!
