IMHO the Indian labour court don't see enough cases as it should

Cause.. People (working professionals) are not remotely educated on how to go about it, they don't know when they will see closure, and honestly they are busy thinking about the real problem - How to pay rent? How to put food on the table? How to make a career?

The few who fight get quoted. 99% give up before the fight even begins. Or drop off .. midway. And quietly move on to the next job with trauma in their head and a smile on their CV or vice-versa.

The fear is real - Because your next employer might as well call your last employer for a backchannel reference. Then what? Fear of.. just how far the ripples will go, if you do choose to start this - has stopped more people that I can count.

That's the reality we live in. So many unlawful termination, but how many do you see hitting the papers? How many do you see taking employer to court? Iron clad documentation from the employers side. Hush Contracts in place.

22 central labour courts for a workforce of 500M+ Each year, they receive just ~1,200–2,000 new cases Despite that trickle, they carry 13,000+ pending cases - some unresolved for years. How do you even search for what's happening as on date with Y org?

For most, Labour Court is where a company arrives with a binder, and the worker arrives with a story. One gets labelled "evidence". The other, "emotion". Only one of them walks out whole
