- India is unsafe for women. Let’s not be in denial about it.
- There are several platforms outside India which do not let one woman’s seat lie in isolation with a group of men.
As much as I want to defend fellow men here, what you have said is correct. Women are not safe in India. We need to be better even if it's a small percentage of people who give the rest of us a bad name.

I had to travel to Vande Bharat express where seats are close ,I was shifted between two men. Facing 3 men and traveling for 8 hrs. Although they were very respectful, it still felt very uncomfortable. I have not mastered being comfortable with strangers. @samosa might have an opinion but this is not easy when men scan and sometimes feel like they will make women pregnant just by looking with their ultra pro scanner eyes. Crazy instances all this while being fuller covered in decent clothes and not calling for any attention.

I understand that the picture and the sarcastic comment makes it an annoying post. But if you think about it, it's a real issue. Men don't know how to behave, men were never told how to. There's a reason why a man would be more comfortable in a group of women than the other way around.
