Hi team I’m in a senior associate consultant role (4A). My manager ask to apply the job through IJP. She refer me IJP project code. When I applied , it’s a consultant Role 5B.
I have few query.
- Is they promote me first senior associate (JL4)consultant to consultant (JL5)
- I will be JL4 leve but in the project I need work as consultant level?
- Is there is any fisy? Do I need to do anything from my side.
I joined as Senior associate consultant in June 27 2023. 30 April 2024 is the last working in the current project.
They're trapping you.
Read TnC of IJP, you won't be allowed to participate in this process again for next 18 months.
Meaning now whatever project they put you in, you will have to work in that, can't get out of that project by asking release. IJP has a clause that otherwise if you apply there, and are selected, your current manager can't deny release. This was the whole point of IJP : to ensure people feeling trapped can explore new opportunities within Infy instead of putting down papers
Basically your managers think they have trapped you now and the only escape is putting papers, which is actually good 😅
