IJP at Infosys??

I'm currently working as an associate consultant and it's been about 8 months. I've got good project and my team and manager are also nice. Although I want to grow in Marketing and move to that department. I heard that IJP is only created for formality but the person for the role is already decided in prior.

How to move to marketing? Please advise
