IITs and reliance are building GPT?

Does not make sense to me. Reliance is backing educational institutes for building something that has already been well commercialised.

Okay, that’s one thing.

But why tf FOR EVERY GODAMN thing we’ve to add Bharat in it? Why we suck alot when it comes to name something?

BharatOS, Bharat Pay, BharatGPT etc. WHY? I bet for the ad campaign they’re gonna shove tabla and suitar as background music.

Are they trying to milk engagements by addting BH in it? Playing with the sentiments or something?

I don't have any problem if they are buying the GpUs. But if they make the same clone shit again. Then it will be the problem

Why Bharat - "GPT" just to make it sound like a clone of chatgpt. Atleast Krutrim and Gemini have better names.

Are they just fine tuning on top of existing models or are they building it from scratch? A lot of Indian startups are already doing fine tuning, Krutrim and SarvamAI are the most prominent ones.

Hypothetical answer:
Like most other products , the govt wants some Indian company to be competing against that foreign company. So ,if in the future the foreign govt puts some restriction/barrier there shouldn't be any implication on the functioning of our country
