If you were forced to work under your junior...

I am a software engineer and have been working in the cooperate for 4 years and everyday it's like hell for me. Since this Monday they officially made me report to a guy who joined two years after me. I do like solving problems and building things but not in the corporate environment where you are constantly in a fear and stress about explaining basic concepts to your own manager which completely took the fun part out of it. I want to focus on my actual work like writing logic fixing bugs, doing deployments and learning new frameworks. At the end of the day after 9 - 6, I have no energy left in me to do anything else because dealing with his ego and micro management completely drains me. I don't want to continue this lifestyle until my brain is incapable of doing the things I actually love. So all I can have regrets in the end.
