If you are "open to work" for 6 months, the market isn't ignoring you - it’s sending a clear signal
And those being..
- You've been priced incorrectly
- You have not paid attention to the market
- The market has a very different opinion of your skill, your designation and your employer
- You are selling skills that are either available at cheaper rates from a human or a system
- Your proof of value is VERY VERY questionable
All those folks saying .... yeah yeah market this market that/ hang in there.. to you ... is honestly all.. garbage 🤮
PS: If this upset/ rattled you - good. Let's not play pretty for the heck of it. The situation aint pretty. And neither should this conversation.

It's very hard to take an HR person seriously.

my life will never suck so much that il have to take random rangoli HR gyaan :D. impossible to sink that low.

This is dumb as hell ,, i am open to work but i am also Getting good genAI work at my current company so i keep that tag while enhancing my resume, doing more courses and if any good opportunities come by that are remote and higher pay, i will try them.
This is why my company HR and every team member is blocked on LinkedIn, you guys think you only know how to play the game.

True. Unfortunately, on LinkedIn, people with 'open to work' end up being very poor in terms of how they reach out as well.
I've noticed in terms of Cold DMs - generic messages... "Hi Sir, I saw opening for frontend engineer, please refer me...".
Nothing about why they want to do this, no mention of even company name. Often taking my name incorrectly or sometimes even fucking up the company name (because they are just bulk DMing)
It is unfortunate how many people do not know how to seek roles. Will put up a post on this sometime soon.

arey bhai ab kya 🥁 roll kr ke cold msg kre ? 😂

Naah. This market is moo manure. Have done well in interviews followed by being gas lit by companies. But fear not, one day my time will come
