Trending @Infosys; If I go on Bench, Will I be able to go for ACON when I'm under STG group?

I am a part of special talent group and will have a video assessment someday soon. My project is really toxic, and I want to go on bench asap. Will I be able to apply for acon if I go on bench while still being under the special talent group?
