If I continue or it was the wrong decision.

It has been 7 months in a company and due to politics. I received the call for ATL with add-on compensation to me. I discussed with AVP what is going on. After that I got the call ATL is on hold. Should I have been accepted the Compensation or wait for at least 1 year to complete. I am a team lead.
