if your leave is approved it will replace your hours in timesheet.

Your supervisor can create an issue for it. This is not how leaves work in company. You should apply your leave first(if planned). You should apply leave as soon as you take it.
If your supervisor is good, then you can apply it. If it is already more than a week..why bother?

Yes you will get additional 9 hrs of salary (9 hours of leave and 9 hours for timesheet filled hours)
