If AI is going to take jobs lets make sure it takes the right ones

We build the software that runs the world. We ship features at 2 AM. We solve impossible bugs. Then companies “restructure” and the people who did the work are laid off. The govt takes a huge chunk of our pay. When crisis hits, we’re left to figure it out on our own.

Where is the accountability?

Now we are building AI that can replace jobs. If AI is going to cut jobs, why should it be ours ,the 9-5 hard working people who give everything to their companies and then hand 30% of our pay to the govt (East India Company ,pun intended)

Here’s a different idea: let’s build AI that fights the real problems.

AI politicians: not to run the government, but to keep it honest. Imagine AI agents that can read through thousands of pages of proposed laws and policies, detect discrepancies, hidden clauses, and potential loopholes that favor the powerful. Systems that can expose fraudulent schemes, fake tenders, and backdoor deals before they cause damage.

AI bureaucrats: digital administrators that make governance transparent. They can track public spending, audit tenders, flag delays, and ensure every rupee of taxpayer money is traceable. No red tape, no favoritism just data-driven efficiency.

AI advocacy bots: tools that empower citizens and workers. They can scan social platforms to detect emerging issues, unite similar causes, and make genuine public sentiment trend across media in seconds , ensuring that our voice actually matters.

Automate the parasites , not the people who deploy the solutions

Build fast. Build bold. But build with a moral compass. Technology should protect livelihoods and strengthen democracy , not make skilled people disposable.
