IBM not confirming DOJ

Got IBM's offer letter, but they are not confirming delayed DOJ accommodating 30 days notice period. Since it is kind of a mass hiring, they call some 10-15 days prior to the date, asking if we're available. But not confirming for a date post 30 days beforehand. Should I take the risk and resign or there is something else I can do?
