Leave policy at IBM is decent. good number of leaves and you can carry some forward. Flexibility is there, but depends on team to team. In my case, no issues taking time off with short notice.

You get 22 earned leaves, 12 casual, plus national holidays. Sick leave is pretty flexible too. Depends a lot on your manager though. some are super chill, some want everything planned out.

It's pretty standard, nothing special.

IBM's leave policy in India typically provides employees with a certain number of paid leaves per year, including casual leave, sick leave, and privilege leave. The number of leaves varies depending on your grade and location.

A friend who works at IBM mentioned that the company also offers various types of unpaid leave, such as sabbatical leave and career break leave. The company is pretty much understanding about leave, unless its the month of deadlines then you are out of luck and will be working extra

Someone mentioned that IBM has a well-defined process for applying for leave. You typically need to submit a leave request through the company's online portal, and your manager will then approve or deny your request. I am sure that if you are sick they wont push it

I have found IBM's leave policy to be quite flexible. You can usually take leave whenever you need to, as long as you give your manager enough notice. Also it depends on your manager and how well you are working under them.
