IBM INDIA AND IBM GLOBAL

Can some please which tell me the difference between these two and how would I understand the difference? In offer letter for both it will written as IBM india or anything different? Please tell me the difference. Also, I am an SAP functional consultant , please tell me the scope and benefits for both or which one is better ?
