IBM ASE vs Accenture ASE - Freshers?

Both have almost same package 4.5 LPA. So that is not the main distinguisher? What is?

Have heard Accenture is mostly giving freshers support roles & you can't ask for roll off or relocation before 2 years.

Would be glad if someone could share insights about IBM here too.

Thanks.

It’s the same case with IBM. They mostly offer support role to freshers as well. Release from the project depends on your manager and even if you get a release you have to find the next project by yourself. The chances are very low of getting a new project and post 2 months of being in bench they will ask you to resign. Still, all the best !

One main difference is : In IBM, after 1 year there is default promotion. Salary becomes 48k approx And In Accenture , after 2 year there is default promotion. Salary becomes 40k approx.

So , better to join IBM as a fresher.

In Accenture, you can change ur primary skill set by taking approval nd ask for release. Once ur on bench, you will get project calls mostly based on ur primary skill set..I myself moved from QA to front-end. Most imp is your ability to convince ur manager..
