I will suggest post june, take may month VP. By the time work on your skills.

I would just say one thing: Don't resign closer to any appraisal cycle. Either resign right after that or a few months before the next one is due such that your notice period is over before the cycle starts. There is a reason for it so just trust me on that. :)
