Trending @Infosys; I was on bench. I applied for resignation. My manager is asking for early release. I was interested to serve notice period.
My manager is saying they will put me in short term projects if i serve my notice period also i should come to office daily for these 90 days. Else i should take early release. Is it normal for people on notice period to come to office daily
They can release you early only if you are agree to get release early ..or they have to pay 3 month salary advance .....so bro chill ....no one can stop you to serve notice period
Ask him for severance package
Yes, I faced the same issue. If you don't go to office they'll deduct your leaves
Don’t take early release
When you put papers it’s upto the company whether to make you serve your notice period based on their business needs. Paying you for sitting on bench doesn’t serve any business need. On the other hand if if company fires you , even if they release you immediately they will give you the 3 months irrespective of whether you are on bench or not. Cause they are the ones firing.
It depends on delivery manager. My friend who was in bench asked for early release but delivery manager refused. He has to serve full 90 days notice period even on bench.
