I was about to switch and this happend

I joined this company an year ago without RSUs, and today I got a confirmation that I will be getting RSUs. This will be my updated TC: 19L Base + 24L RSUs vested over 4 years YOE: 3

I got a call from Google but for an applications engineer role and when they asked for expectations they said they can go max 25-28L TC and not base given my current TC which was just the base part. Should I still try for it or prepare properly and aim for SWE roles in future?
