I want to throw my laptop away...
I am a backend dev and have been working in the industry for 2 years and everytime I am oncall it's like hell for me. I do like writing code and shipping things but not in an oncall environment where you are constantly in a fear and panic about missing the SLA which completely took the peace out of it. Yesterday I had to open my laptop and fix a prod issue sitting right in a hospital waiting room. I want to do normal things like attending weddings, going to the movies, visiting relatives and traveling without carrying my backpack everywhere. At the end of the day after dealing with pages, I have no energy left in me to even explain to people why I am working. I don't want to continue this lifestyle until my social life is completely dead. What is the most embarrassing or inappropriate place you guys had to open your laptop to fix a prod issue so I know I am not alone.

Build an agent to do this for you. Bit hard, but doable.

Not exactly for the prod issues, but ya while traveling, in hospital next to my grandma's bed, when at family function.
