Startup is a lonely journey. Untill it grows to a certain size, You can't find people to connect without each viewing the other with suspicion. Hell, even your CA will not offer decent ideas untill he knows you are a good billable. I find it lot easier once your realise thile whole quid pro quo relationship/connection/network. Have something to offer, also know what you need connections happen on their own.
