I want to relocate to the Kolkata
I am going to be released from the project next month (October). After realising from the project is there any way to accept only the Kolkata location project and is there any possibility to relocate to Kolkata.
Can you someone assist me to get relocate to the Kolkata location.
Note:- I recently joined TCS in March 2024.
Try to initiate transfer after discussion with manager and skip level managers before getting released from the project and if you have their support they should be able to help you out , though this process might take some time but it will be better than looking for relocation once you are in RMG pool
Speak with your lead/manager regarding your desire to relocate to Kolkata. Contact HR to initiate a self-requested transfer; you are eligible after completing 18 months. Engage with RMG (Resource Management Group) to find suitable projects in Kolkata. Use internal tools like KnowMe to search for projects in Kolkata. Be proactive and clear about your reasons for relocation to increase your chances.
