I want to quit tcs for ssc.

I have joined tcs in April and I don't want to work here anymore and have started to prepare for ssc scoring ok in mocks but I feel I need to do dedicated studies which is not possible with this job as the working hours are hectic and ofc 100% wfo police are there.... I have to sit in the office where my TL is always on my head and doesn't even spare a minute. Also I have a one year bond. Please give some advice. I am planning for ssc-2025. and need at least a min of 6 months.

Quit TCS if you must. Your mental health and career goals matter. But remember, breaking a bond has financial consequences. Plan meticulously, save up, and prepare for SSC with full dedication.

I just can't get the right time to quit like I can work there till April which will complete my 1 yr bond then how to dodge 90 days notice period.

My advice Even if you think you can crack ss with mocks don't quit.the exam may not happen in time and you will be left jobless But if you have a good backing and your family is ok then quit and study. But for SSc you can try with job.Just try getting a not so hectic project.

How can I get into another project as a fresher they don't give any options for project selection and I am already into a project.

Ask for release or do minimum.possible work.We can find gaps in time.Write down on a sheet of paper your whole day time log. What are you spending time on.I believe you are going on tea breaks lunch breaks.Try to optimise those times.Do the minimum possible work as you are not going to stay in the job.Read news on mobile get current affairs snapshots.Get pdf books.Maaybe get a fold phone.Been there but could not crack govt jobs.So optimise your time first, then see if you can study for ssc.Having a job gives you peace of mind.

I would advise you to Quit..and start preparing for It wholeheartedly if you really wanna crack it .Cracking SSC won't be as easy as getting placed in TCS.. There is literally cut-throat competition in that field.. But let me tell you in the end it will all be worth it...Even a 10th Pass MTS guy earn around 35k in SSC at starting with guaranteed increments and in TCS you will get what 22-24 k in the beginning and what if you didn't study well and couldn't crack SSC and then there is no big vacancy after 2025 ? So If you have decided to go that path go whole heartedly.❤️

@FluffyGuestbook If you dont want to be in IT industry why to worry about bond.. Just tell them I wont pay... they will threaten u that u might face court case and would not give you your experience letter...And no one goes to court case and all no one not even HR is that free.. the bond is not leagal in India.
