Trending @Wipro; I want to get release from the current project as i am NGA joined wipro 1 year ago. Since 1 year i am in the same project
But its been a year now they are just extending the project neither releasing me nor assigning any work. I am frustated now. Can anyone please guide me how to get release from the project. I want to change the location as well
I would suggest to stay in project. And upskill yourself. Because wipro don't have that much projects. And if they have then they require experienced emp. They would not give task to freshers. I have also completed 13months in wipro. My condition was same. In june I got release and now I'm in support project. I'm NGA too. Market condition is worst. If you ask for release and won't get any good working project then HR might ask you to leave company,After being on bench. So it's better to upskill yourself. Because after getting work you won't have time for your family and frds as well, u will get tired and can't learn anything new.
Ya that’s correct. You got work in support? How did you get release from the project? For NGA we have time for 2 years right? They will tag the project till two years after that being on bench is difficult. Right now i have been in the same for more than a year I haven’t tried any different opportunities. But i think condition is same for every one nobody wants freshers my friends having different project but they are all sitting same without work. How can i get transfer to another location? And if we temporary relocate it will get auto approved or not?
You are right. I didn't ask my manager to release me, due to budget issue manager released some ppl like me. Then I was on bench for a month in june I got tagged in my current project. Then one person from acc called me took my interview and mentioned that it is support project. I said yes, no issue. Because I have joined last yr and I have no experience. I don't even know how corporate work is. So now in support project. Abd abt relocation you have to ask your hr about it. They will guide you.
