Work life balance and work culture, the one thing for which these PSU/PSB used to be preferred, is much worse in SBI, than in Corporate world of Software Engineering.

I'd say go for Software Engineering. I have 3 uncles who work for SBI. Their work life balance is messed up. The more you get promoted, the more they expect you to work.

The rewards and benefits are absolutely insane but you end up giving your health for it . Choose wisely
