Don't buy a house in Mumbai.

Instead put that money in some fd or something and pay the rent from the interest.

In mumbai, house prices are way too high compared to the returns.

Do you work in western suburbs?
If yes, you may look in the stretch between Goregaon to Kandivali. Even Borivali and Dahisar is ok if you are ok to travel
