I took 7 days sick leave.Will they cause any issue? They asked me to submit medical documents

After many years I finally found out why they ask for documents. If you are taking more than 2 days, tcs claims money from insurance company as a business loss. They need your documents to claim that.

As long as you have actual medical documents proving reason for 7 days leave, you are fine. If you don't have and were faking it, make sure the fake documents that you will arrange are substantially sufficient to justify leave and contains supporting information based on type of medical issue

It is a normal process when we take more than 3 days of sick leave. Just submit the required documents. They will not make any issues.
