I think Indian Electoral process is one of those rare Indian things that can be termed best in the world. Do you thing EVM are hacked to alter electoral outcome?

I don't think there is any better alternative to Indian Electoral process. The check and balances that Indian electoral system provides is simply unmatched when compared to electoral process of USA or European countries.

If you think EVM can be hacked, kindly elaborate how?

If a large section of society is raising questions, its up to the election commission to restore faith in the process. Multiple cases have been filed in the last decade which demand an independent audit of EVMs by third parties and to check a larger sample set of VVPATs after elections. But the courts keep saying that "we need to trust the EC". I dont think an electoral process should operate on trust.

Any electrical machine or system can be hacked or manipulated with or without direct physical access to it. That's literally what hackers do in hacking conferences, figure out ways to do this and stop this.

Even airgapped machines can be hacked using electro magnetic waves. It's not that difficult.

You're naive to think otherwise. This is why VVPAT is important but absent in more than 70% polling booths of India, a concern that has already been raised multiple times.
