I think i'm being hacked

I lost 1.5 GB of data over night, woke up in the morning did a top up of 1GB vanished in 2 hours, I wasn't even using the phone that much. Phone heating up, dip in battery. Similar thing has happened 2 more times this week

Its an iPhone 12, no fishy apps, I'm technically sound and have already done the obvious + what first two pages of Google would suggest.

Have you experienced this? Does anyone know what to do in such a situation?

A technically sound person doesn't jump to hacking conclusions imo.
What kind of truth seeking have you done? Have you analyzed which apps consumed data? What apps resulted in battery drain?

Have you enabled auto updates on mobile data?

Don't do talk-time or data topups. Prefer the high validity daily packs.

Some providers (cough VI cough) seem to auto-initiate charges to your talk or data balance (I sometimes got auto subscribed to some caller tunes or shit whenever I'd balance over β‚Ή50)

Check battery usage and see what's running in the background

Probably one of the apps you installed preforming background jobs to fetch content. Instagram usually drains the battery fast. Probably some bug in one of the app causing to consume more data in background.

  1. Restart your phone
  2. Try uninstalling ecom + social media apps
