I think fKED up AMAZON
So the story js i have been trying to get into FAANG for a long time , i have 2 yoe , in march i got the OA link , I solver all questions in 30 minutes , i was really expecting a call so i started preparing and solving as much as leetcode i can . I don’t know this time i had gut feeling i will get a call .
So fast forward, on 9 th April Wednesday , 5 pm i got a call from international number it was from amazon HR . They wanted me to appear for the interview in next morning 10 am , like less than 20 hours . But the thing is my manager won’t give me a leave as some production work was scheduled in the morning itself.
Even before interview you need to revise Atleast all the topic in one go which usually takes time. I told her i can do it next week please let me know. She said she don’t have slots and if there is any thing in slots she will call me and she cut the call , it was really not good . But according to her tone i felt she isn’t going to call .
How to deal with this as that was an automated number I can’t reach out to her . What should i do ? Amazon folks please let me know, i have prepared long and I don’t want to lose the interview opportunity because of this🥹🥹🥹
It's not your fault. Don't need to feel sad. It's the hr and their company policies. They take a month's time to schedule a round and give you just 20 hours. Also tells you how Amazon is doing currently in terms of culture.
If any amazon hr is seeing this, you should be ashamed of your self.
