Don't fear PIP, just do whatever your people lead is asking you to. Delete No word from your dictionary, definitely you will never get PIP.

Generally PIP is informed to the resource and his supervisor alone, others will not know.

Yes very common in accenture. The day you deny working late, speak up against your manager’s bully - you are in pip.

It's an unwritten rule for every project to recommend 5% of their staff for PIP regardless of stream or level. Stay out of that 5% , work hard and be visible with your work and in good relations with upper management and you won't be in PIP. The above directives help you with better hikes and promotions too.
