I recently completed an online MBA, from a tech background 3-YOE, now I want to be in management only, which position should I apply for?
Done B.tech, worked for 3 years in the tech field in Infosys, now completed my online MBA and wanted to be in management roles, how to achieve this path? P.S. working in tech is a horrible experience, day and night only hectic work, It makes me work on outdated technology which is of no use elsewhere, I need your advice guys, yours sincerely.
Define what do you mean management?
Management jobs are becoming obsolete. Unfortunately. Everyone is trying to become a individual contributor.
Tech sucks. Sucks at certain places and certain skills.
Try to do a lil research where you want to be. Technology industry has varied roles. Target or try what you like.
Thanks for your kind advice, I want to be project manger however don't know where to start, if I go from my own tech, I'll be a very long road, I believe If I do any similar position work, the road might get shorter.
Switch to Business Analyst role.
