Trending @Infosys; I received NI ratings. Will I be fired? Will it impact my current Hike percentage or denied?

You may not be fired if already working in a project and will be put under PIP to improve your skillset.

What will happen if I do not clear PIP?

Subject to Manager and HR decision.

Prior to last year NI rating folks were not on put on PIP mandatorily , it was upto the manager. But last year HR forced manager to put people on PIP. Being on PIP doesn’t always mean you will be fired. I know 3 people who weren’t , they were on a project under a new manager than the one who assigned them NI rating and the new manager assigned achievable goals and they clearer easily. So it all depends on situation to situation as also know couple of folks who refused to accept PIP and took voluntary resignation as they didn’t trust their manager would set them achievable goals

And yes it will impact your hike and bonus pay. Both will be 0. You might escape if they don’t consider this rating for jan hikes as it’s technically last years hike.

Yes PIP is a easy way of saying you need to leave. The time in PIP should be used to study hard, learn well and give interviews. Instead of firing directly, they'll give PIP so that you can use it to learn and resign.

They will send you a PIP, you are not eligible for variable pay, no hike is available and In PIP they will give a lot of responsibilities
