I need to go on leave for 3 weeks but manager not allowing
I need long leave of nearly 3 weeks to go to my native village for family dispute issue. My manager is clearly saying that any long leave will not be approved. Even if we raise 2 or 3 casual leaves he has concerns. He says if you need so long leave then put papers and don't take salary. Evn my casual and flexi leave is mostly lapsed from last 2 years. People only get leave in project for medical issue. And senior female associate only easily get the leaves easily approved. Only way left is going long sick leave but it require medical document. Anyway we can get it made in for Chennai location. Also what all they check as hr and doctor also verify it.
No one can stop u taking the leaves ..involve HR
We involved once before. . He says long leave need to be informed and approved in advance of at least 3 months and proper kt need to be planned frm before. Also customer should not have any issue only then he will allow. already ppl are limited and there are dependenceis so he is always talking like this. If we fight too much then he spoil appraisal and then start troubling. He talks rudely when talk about leaves. He says he himself coming daily then why others can't come. I asked wfh so he rejected saying 100% wfo is mandatory. If I put medical then he will get checked by tcs hr and doctor. Also once in project he checked the medical and since it's in same city he says he will ensure that someone gets to that hospital and verifies it. For one medical issue, He also called the doctor number mentioned in medical to verify that issue is genuine. Only senior female resources he will kot question, for others esp junior and C1/C2, and male resources it's always like this. Even unplanned CL is taken very seriously. I don't know where to get medical made and have doubt how to deal in case he verifies it.
Medical leave is the other option but it is risky …try involving hr keep everything written ..it is not his company remember that
Bhai doctor se ek fake certificate bana le or manager k muh pe maarna, likhwa lena due to eyes problem issue not able to work some time in project.
Take alternate sick leaves after wet 2 days. No one can decline the leave. Also take only 2 days sick leaves after at once.
In my project also there are getting serious even for single day leaves and i am getting traumatized to ask even for and leave 🥲
