Do certificates. If interested in java learn frontend tech stack and spring boot.

There is less chance you will get offer as java developer in project. Chance will get higher if already have knowledge you can negotiate and impress.

Network very important.
Dm manager in teams and yammer.

Every thins depends on you Dont sit idle.
