I met an unusual girl

I recently met up with an old school friend after ages. It was a bit strange, though. She mentioned having a boyfriend, but something felt off. Maybe it was the way she avoided the topic, or how quickly she agreed to see a movie with me. When I tried to ask about him, she got super defensive, which made the whole thing even weirder. And to top it off, she's been trying to crack these competitive exams, but hasn't had any luck. We suggested a master's degree, but she seemed really unsure. It was like she was hiding something, or maybe just going through a lot.
