Trending @Accenture; I messed up big
So, I am new to the team, the project, and to corporate itself. I was in a kind of shadow kt call, with my team member, who was to perform an activity and an instructor from the old team.Due to un-avoidable reasons, my team member got dropped form the call. Since I had no access to the database and stuff, I could not perform the activity, and my team member was also not able to reconnect. The person who was instructing told me to ask the person who raised the ticket, whether it was a high priority task or it could wait. HERE'S THE FUCK UP Instead of mailing him or messaging him personally, I thought a reply all to the original request mail which had a whole lot of team members and clients in cc, would be the right way to do so!!! And, that's not all, I informed my supervisor, AFTER DROPPING THE MAIL!! (He told me to do nothing, but it was too late) I not only messed up bad, but increased his work and created problems for him along the way 🥲 I hope I don't get fired 🥲
Cry aa rha...ðŸ˜

Definitely you are a girl
Don’t worry for this no one will fire you this is very basic mistake😂😂

Yes😂 even top level members did that

Actually, I had once previously mailed the client directly, unknowingly, of course, so I was told to be more careful. What upsets me most is that I created more work for supe. who already had a lot to handle

Chill nothing will happen. You can recall the mail

How do I do that?

U can google it as i dont know which version u are using outlook .

Ehhh. That's overthinking. I always make sure I reply to all. If anything, the clients appreciate insights/proactive questions.

Don't worry at all. Mistakes like this happen to everyone. Sleep peacefully

For the future you can directly recall the mail. If it was ready by someone you cannot recall. For now you cannot do anything. So take it as a learning and don't overthink.
