Hi, Kindly please don't judge me, I made a big mistake. Please tell me how to deal with it. Last week I received a company issued wifi router and Airtel people got it installed in my PG. I connected it with my personal laptop and personal mobile phone also. Yesterday night I watched a movie and YT videos through that wifi on my personal laptop. Then today I logged into adult site and then i remembered that I am logged in with my office issue wifi, i disconnected that wifi from my both mobile phone and laptop. Will company take any action on me? I am actually very worried, I have disconnected both my personal phone and laptop from that wifi now, only office laptop is connected to it

Company only pays for wifi when you submit the bill. They won’t have access to your browsing history
No, you are not understanding, company brought a new policy that they will install a wifi router at each employee house or PG...they will now directly pay to company either airtel or Jio, now they would not pay reimbursement back to employee
Got it but still I don’t think so broadband provider will share your history, as they care what are you doing on company laptop only

Chill. Company pays your wifi bill, that doesn’t mean they own your wifi and rule over your entire wifi usage. It doesn’t work like that untill you use their network too. But in this case, the network is of Airtel or Jio, laptop is your personal one, so you have nothing to worry.
You should have worried had you done all this on your company’s laptop, or using company’s internet network (may be using office network). But in this case, nothing to worry, no violation has taken place.

Chill nothing will happen. If they ask you then just tell them i clicked on some link and it redirected me to these sites… usually if company didn’t wanted you to visit specific sites they would’ve blocked it already.
