I'm getting ~6L post Gratuity and FnF this month. How should I invest? (34F, Married, 1 kid) Should I:
@LadyMacbeth HL OD is the best of all these. In any of the above options, u won't be able to gain much profit considering the headwinds in market, that too will attract tax. If u love to take risks, try luck in US stock markets

HL OD gets a chunk of my 'savings' every month. Gives us superb liquidity and interests are far lesser than what most of my friends pay as rents.
That's why I felt a lumpsum should probably be pushed to gold coins?
What's your take on gold. It's 3xd over five years

Hey, I am getting almost the same next month! Let me also know what options are you considering. I am thinking about long term stocks - have shortlisted a few.

Mind sharing which ones shortlisted? What do you think of tata motors?

@LadyMacbeth
Consider adding it to your emergency fund if you haven't already. For this purpose, you may want to look into an arbitrage fund or a liquid fund. Before making any investment decisions, review your current equity-to-debt allocation. If you're looking to invest in the stock market, a large cap index fund could be a good option, but only if you're willing to hold onto it for the long term and can handle the current market volatility. If you're risk-averse, a gold ETF might be a better choice than physical gold coins, as it helps avoid GST and other charges, such as those associated with storing and securing physical gold in a locker.
