I'm at 50% of what I should be earning
Had appraisal talk with my boss, I quoted 2x hike based on market standards He said he agrees I should be earning the quoted comp, but currently company doesn't make that kind of money, so won't be able to pay
What should do I here?
Get an actual offer of 2X. Prove it to yourself you can get it ( commanding vs getting are two different things ) and then move forward. I like your boss .
Hi @Sentipanda Thank you for this comment of yours. It made me question myself. I did get an offer of 2x, a little satisfaction of self worth.
I don't know you are, but you changed a life
I did nothing. Now that you have 2X offer critically evaluate and move if all ok. All 2X offers are not worth the switch.
Resign immediately and look for opportunities outside
