I'm 30,I had a career gap of 5y and I wanna switch from mechanical background to data analyst field. Any suggestions where I should start ?

I had worked as a Calibration engineer for two years in a small scale industry and took a break of 5y after having a kid Now I want to restart my career but I want to switch it and be a data analyst What are the possible opportunities I can find ?

Do some certifications and courses for the same and then join any firm which gives you data analyst work.. it will take a good time to reach you at a good package
