Trending @Infosys; I left an offer since I got the H1B lottery last year, but neither stamped nor the I got the other onsite due to GI issue in Infy.

Now, I have an opportunity in a pipeline with a 30% hike. Do you think of waiting for stamping and travelling to the U.S or changing the organisation with a 30% hike is a better choice?

Does anybody know the status of H1B and GI issues going on? Is it cleared ? Is there anyone who has recently travelled to U.S

Please wait as with H1b, you will be considered a premium commodity. Infosys will utilise it as losing you means additional spent on $100k

True, but there is some issue going on with GI too due to the low wage concept. I don't know whether that issue is solved and wages are hiked up from the Infy side according to US government? It's been a while with this issue and not initiating the stamping process even though there are multiple requirements.

For those who already have h1b there could be more demand as new h1b will no longer be feasible. But there is a good chance that this fee will be striked down by courts. Cause there is a big industry in US in involved in visa processing with lots of immigration lawyers. They will Defintely file a case

$100k fee is applicable for the next lottery cycle.
