I know people who come to office , and timepass in Odc , canteen , library and play games. They will be less time in Odc . How does this affect them?. For lunch also they go out

I love gaming an evil exploitative system like that of TCS - i love spending just 2 minutes at office everyday and using my time to generate additional income streams and living a life of leisure luxury and oodles of idle time.

depends on what you do to gain additional income

Focus on your own goals, plan and action would be my suggestion. As to your question no one is recording what people are doing in office, only time in and time out, so no obvious impact of their activities. However if this means they are not working and not performing for the organization they will suffer in terms of appraisal, career growth, skills etc. It's their call. If they are doing this just to address the RTO requirements and actually performing their work well - we don't know.

But I heard that time you spent in the Odc also counts. Isn’t that true

May be. It is not public knowledge. We should know after this quarter. Probably the question is - should it count? If WFH / WFO mode are better for some, and not so good for others, isn't it a choice that they should exercise for themselves. Assuming the organisation trusts in its processes and in the people who form a part of it. Right now management doesn't think this way hence RTO.

It won't. I am doing straight u turn after swipe, still complaint in 85% WFO.

Yes it affects them seriously... It Inculcates a behavioural pattern in which a person seems to be happy all the time and takes things less seriously in life resulting in enjoying the life to full...and not getting afraid of what might happen in life .. it develops a positive and courageous attitude... you should try it tooπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I don't think it will affect them if they are able to complete their work on time irrespective of how much timepass they are doing, they showing that they are coming to office by swiping so what they are doing inside it doesn't matter if work getting completed.
