I keep getting ghosted and my career gap continues increases

I'm on month 4 due to an extremely unexpected layoff at my previous company and I'm getting a decent number of interview calls now but I get ghosted by other companies as well and I'm wondering how I can solve this problem.

I worry if companies keep dragging on with their interview process that I'll hit the 6 month mark and will end up un-hireable....
