You must inform your manager. All auto notifications are sent to your N+1. If your manager and N+1 are different, inform ASAP. This gives them time to look for a replacement

You can inform your manager that can help to get approved faster but it doesn’t matter it will get auto approved it 15 days anyways

Inform your manager directly. Check the ECMS portal for status. If not approved in 15 days, it auto-approves.
