Bro, forget it. if it's been a year, it's not happening. HR is just playing games. move on or look for another opportunity.

How long have you been in tcs?? And did your manager inform you that she sent your name for promotion?

That means you are not gonna promoted if its pending since a year, some one from same band already promoted and priority changed by upper managers, better suggestion dont fall in trap and look out.
