Please do not mention traveling abroad. I said I’ll be at my native place and would like to work from there. I was in Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Germany on a personal trip. That too twice in 2023 and for a month long period. There is no tracking that happens unless and until you are working for Federal Government.

Reason why HR will never allow you to work from anywhere outside India: In case the authorities of the foreign nation catch you while working on their soil, they will ask you for a "Work" Visa, if you don't have one they will penalize you for working in their country without authority. In such case there is a chance that Accenture gets bad publicity.

Yes it's not allowed to work from outside India, in one of the calls during onboarding, it was mentioned that a person working from a different country was identified by infosec, I am not aware of the consequences but It was taken to higher management and even leadership.

It could be due to the recent one day in office policy.
