Buddy I am reviewer for many, and nothing was consulted with me and similarly with many tower leads, it was completely BU managed this time, even I was shockwd when TD had asked me reason for giving C band to the ML lady before end of march. I had told them to reqch the person who had shared the data and dont bother me or my leads. I had argue with SDM for this and he said he is in same boat like me. Here ypu and me also in same boat. These decisions are completely handled by BU heads and so called corporate.
So the band for Lady is C or Changed? And BU heads on What basis they are giving C band
Nope, rating was 4.18 and expected band by me lead or TD is A but given was C and now it qill allow o reject post rejection reviewer has chance to accept or deny but even after that BU will reject it definately as again HR share such list to BU heads and but obvious thwy have last decision
I agree with ur manager , in most of the teams managers were provided with the ipf that needs to be given from the reviewer or delivery Manager based on the bell curve ...

I will tell about my project being a manager i was informed that i need to give 30 percent of people under me C , 40 percent B and 30 percent A .. even if everyone did a good work i have to fit them in this slab .. if other teams under ur delivery manager deserve more B he will be forced to give more C and A in ur team . So dont be upset or get demotivated that C is cos of ur work its lot of things behind

Bhai sab phle se pre planned hota hai , aur sab supervisor pe hi depend karta hai. Mere case mai toh supervisor ne project hi chord dia tha beech mai 6 months ke liye ( tab project ekdum mast chla client side pe ekdum smooth) fir ye aa gya dubara aur dumb questions puch ke time waste karna.
Ultimately supervisor can decide and you should be in his good books. He will act surprised if you confront him.
Best option leave TCS because A B C sab mai mostly single digit hike hi milti hai.
Reviewer will tell to go for HR it's no use i spent my 1 month in this totally ruining my mental health you can try but it's not too worth.
True Bhai. For 1 month they will waste time by saying go to this person that person. Last time i got B band and I rejected it. When I talked with manager he acted like he was surprised and asked me to reject it and connect with supervisor. Then this supervisor also acted surprised and told to connect with hr. When I talked with hr they said this is what your management gave me so unless they ask me to change I can't change. They will just play blame game waste your time unless you give up and then they justify that they have given correct band.
