44 including 40% variable is just around 26L fixed ctc. That’s very less for level 6. Don’t count variable at all. That depends on many things and you might get just the peanuts

It’s 31L fixed plus 40% variable. I was told by HR that out of 40% you get 28% for sure

Switching to Accenture with a CTC of 44 LPA is a big jump from TCS. Just remember, 40% is variable, so performance matters. Evaluate role and culture too.

Don't trust HR at Accenture and also don't consider that you will receive variable pay. They include it just to show higher package but at end of year we don't receive it

At TCS you were getting 18.2 LPA, that does not mean 18.2 was fixed. Maybe 15LPA was fixed as quarterly variable component is there, which i believe you did not receive fully. Considering that, more then 100 percent jump at Accenture for fixed is quite good for fixed pay. Overall 44LPA is good for Accenture at L6 for you in the long run as you will be safe in case of budget issues of project as you are in the lower curve of Level 6. It would be good to know your location and tech stack, based on it i can comment further.

Your current CTC is 18.5. So even if Accenture is giving 31 lpa fixed, it's a good deal.
